The cool Omega America's Cup Seamaster watch has arrived!

Swiss watch brand OMEGA launched a new America's Cup Seamaster watch this year. This mechanical watch was specially designed by the brand for the 37th America's Cup Sailing Race and to pay tribute to the defending champion of the America's Cup Sailing Race, the Emirates Team New Zealand.

As a long-standing and exciting event in the history of international sports, the America's Cup has a long reputation. Omega has a deep relationship with the America's Cup. In 1995, Omega started its cooperation with the New Zealand Chiefs with its precise timing and excellent quality. The 37th America's Cup will be the fourth time that Omega has served as the official timekeeper of the event. Omega also provided official timing services for the America's Cup in 2000, 2003 and 2021. This year, Omega drew inspiration from the sail pattern in the New Zealand Chiefs' team logo and created this new timepiece specifically for the America's Cup.

This Seamaster Planet Ocean 'Deep Black' Chiefs New Zealand watch is made of black ceramic, with a case diameter of 45.5 mm, which cleverly combines the deep black of the ocean with the turquoise color of the Chiefs New Zealand team logo.

The watch case is made of black ceramic, which echoes the unidirectional rotating black ceramic bezel. The bezel is brushed and decorated with a white enamel diving scale. In addition, there is a countdown indicator ring before the sailing race and the clearly marked "START" (start) at 3 o'clock, which pays tribute to the competition rules of the America's Cup. The pointer and small dial ring present the turquoise color of the New Zealand Chiefs' team logo. The gradient blue of the hands and the design of the second hand are ingenious.

The watch features a matte ceramic dial. The digital hour marker “12” and the central chronograph second hand decorated with the regatta trophy logo also use the same color.

The black ceramic chronograph button is brushed and paired with a turquoise ring. The “He” (helium) on the helium exhaust valve and the Omega logo on the crown are also decorated with this turquoise color.

The back of the watch uses NAIAD LOCK technology, which is decorated with the New Zealand Chiefs Team logo, which is composed of turquoise ferns and white letters, in order to pay tribute to the New Zealand sailing team. The watch is equipped with the Omega 9900 Master Chronometer movement, which provides strong power for it.
